NEVER SAY NEVER

As a consultant, I cannot count the number of patients who come in who had previously sworn that they would NEVER go under the knife. So vehement they are to age "gracefully" at twenty and thirty years of age, their attitudes change quickly as they enter their forties and fifties and facial contours start deteriorating. It sometimes just takes one person at the office to ask if they are feeling alright or have they had enough sleep, when in fact they feel great and have slept soundly. There's no crime in wanting to look refreshed in order to compete in an world obsessed with beauty and youth when facing ten to twenty more years in the work force. Even though they are not responsible for making the rules of the game, they want all the ammunition available to them for success.
